What is a result set?

In SocialPoint, data is grouped by a result set to help you more easily compare data to each other.  Typically, your lead data and game performance data are included in a result set.  This allows Event Marketers to compare events or trade shows to each other.  If you are hosting online trivia, you can compare your performance from week to week.

When you reset the leaderboard in Trivia, it starts a new game and creates a new result set.

What is the Team Plan?

The Team Plan provides three very important benefits:

  • Team Administration
  • Game Builder Capability
  • More Players Per Result Set

What is Team Administration?  SocialPoint Team plan allows a team manager to manage who has access to which projects. For example, you might create a game for a sales meeting and give the event staff access to that game. Then, you may create a game for your trade show booth and give the marketing team access to that game only.

What is the game builder feature?  SocialPoint’s game builder allows you to create game configurations and re-use those in multiple events.  The game builder is a simple way to create new games and deploy them easily. You would be able to configure lead capture forms, surveys, branding, game features and trivia questions.  Equally important, you can copy game configurations from event to event.

When do I need the game builder feature?  Agencies, Trainers, Marketers and Event teams use the Game Builder  when they need to create different games across their organization. You would need the game builder feature if you needed to create games for your trade show booth,  sales training and a customer event. Most likely the content, data capture and branding for these three games will be different. So, you would want different games.

Many event marketers setup one game theme and then reuse it for a trade show season or a year.  They may change the questions or edit the game configuration slightly.  In that case, they don’t need the game builder.

Do you provide trivia questions?

Yes, we have 650 pop culture, sports, television, movie, arts, history, geography and “Are you smarter than a 5th grader science questions.”

Can I use my own trivia questions?

Yes, that’s what most people do!

Who hosts the Live trivia game?

Your team will be the emcee and host the game. We provide the software and help you get it configured and ready for your group.

Can we brand the game?

Yes, you can use the default branding, or we can change the graphics to be yours.

Can we personalize the game for our needs?

Yes, your customer success manager will go through the options with you when you start your project. Common examples are showing the correct answers, adding questions, changing the leaderboard, and including lead capture surveys.

Will you show us how to use the game?

Yes! Your customer success manager will show you how to setup and manage the game. They will be available if you have any questions.
