Setup and Support
How long does it take to set up the game? I’m short on time—can you help?
We know planners are busy. Our proven process—Kickoff, Setup, Dry Run, and Launch—helps you get your game ready fast, with our team guiding you every step of the way. Most games are setup in 3 weeks. If you are less than 2 weeks from your event, we can get you ready quickly for a rush fee of $750.
Can we add our logo and use our own branding and colors?
Yes. You can change the color theme to include your own logos, graphics and colors in the game.
How will you give me the QR codes?
You will get an excel file with links to the QR codes. Then, you can easily paste the images on your QR code clue sheets or signage.
How many QR codes can I have?
There is no limit to the number of QR codes. Some people have 11, and others have 60.
Do you offer onsite support at my event?
We don’t send people onsite, but we can offer remote dedicated support packages to ensure everything runs smoothly on event day. Ask us about the options! Note: Most events don’t need it though.
How does SocialPoint protect my data?
First, it’s important to know that SocialPoint customers own the data that they put into the system and the data that is created from their games. This is outlined in Section 3.1 of our Terms and Conditions.
Second, we have a detailed data processing addendum that is included in the terms and conditions that explain how we process your data and protect it.
No, we won’t sell your data. We confirm that in Section 2.1.5.2 of our Data Processing Addendum.
Game Customization and Results
I’ve tried gamification before, and it flopped. Why will this work?
Most event apps treat gamification as an afterthought. SocialPoint is a real gamification platform designed to drive engagement with customizable challenges, prize incentives, and our proven process.
There are three things that help keep people engaged and motivated to play over three dates:
(1) We can turn challenges on and off, so players can’t play ahead and cheat.
(2) We offer multiple reward options, so if a player feels like they can’t win on the leaderboard, perhaps they can earn a drawing entry or win an “instant prize”.
(3) If you have a team game, we find that the team leaderboard and my team leaderboard create peer pressure (to not let my teammates down) to help keep players engaged and playing.
How do real-time leaderboards drive engagement at my event?
Live leaderboards create friendly competition and keep players coming back. Attendees see their progress, and you get more participation. With SocialPoint the leaderboards update in real-time keeping players up to date on what’s happening around them.
How can I reward players—besides using a leaderboard?
Besides leaderboards, you can offer prize drawings, instant win prizes, spin-to-win prize wheels, and more—motivating players to stay engaged.
